Zach Simoneau

Project Manager

I grew up in Basin, WY, where I began working in the field of construction.  After graduating high school I studied Engineering at the University of Wyoming for several years before returning to Basin and construction. I have a very mechanical brain, I've always enjoyed fixing and building things as well as figuring out how they work. My wife and I were led to Powell last year, and are enjoying the community. I have known Nathan and Lois for several years, and was excited when they gave me the opportunity to work with them!

Q: What was the first job you ever had?

A: The first job I ever had was building houses. It's interesting to participate in the different side of construction that I get to do here at Wyoming Linz. Something that I have always strived for at each job I've had is to just do my best. Working in construction allowed me to see the fruits of my efforts, and see how much progress can be made when people work hard as a team.

Q:  Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?

A:  There are probably two people that have influenced me the most when it comes to work.  My Dad and my first boss.  They showed me that work doesn’t typically do itself.  If I had to choose one lesson that has benefited me above all others in my working life it would be the perseverance and can-do attitude demonstrated by these two men.

Q: If I had one trend come back it would it be?

A: It would have to be those light-up sneakers.  Because who doesn’t want to be the coolest kid in school?

Q:  If I had to choose one age to be permanently?

A:  8! So I could rock those light up sneakers all the time!
